An ancient and evolving art, bellydance includes Middle Eastern, North African, Persian, Indian, Roma, and American influences. My classes explore different styles of bellydance, including Cabaret, Tribal, and Egyptian. I am available for private and semi-private lessons... Come dance with us!
What to wear: Dress comfortably. Fitted tank tops (or crop/choli top) and leggings or yoga pants. Skirts that you can move and dance in are OK - leggings or shorts underneath are recommended (we may stretch/cool down on the floor). Footwear: barefeet, half-soles, foot thongs, or dance/ballet slippers (no street shoes). Bring water, a yoga mat or thick towel, and a hipscarf, if you have one. :)
BEGINNING - suitable for beginners, refresher for intermediate/advanced students
INTERMEDIATE - at least 2-3 years of bellydance study/experience (and dedicated beginners who practice everyday!, with approval of instructor)
BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE - mixed-level class

Well you are the best! And a talented teacher! (I don't say that lightly.) I love the variety of drills and choreography. Plus you are very patient and sensitive. I thought it might be [difficult to pick up] the choreography but you made it easy to jump in. B.R.
Mom and I already signed up for your next class [session] and we're so excited. Thanks again for all the care and instruction and encouragement you provide for all of us!!! G.C.
You are awesome! :):) I am really happy that I found you! C.W.
Thanks for being such a great teacher and for making me feel so comfortable. L.C.
Kali takes time to make sure everyone is understanding each movement before going forward. I highly recommend her class for both beginning and intermediate students. Looking forward to the next class! S.M., Meetup group review
Kali is awesome! She made us feel super comfortable, even if we hadn't had any previous belly dancing experience, and incorporated several different moves into one dance at the end :) :) I'll definitely be coming back! G.P., Meetup group review
